The ancient Bhairav Nath Temple is one of the famous temples of Delhi. This temple is located near Nehru Place in Delhi. This temple is completely dedicated to Bhairav, an incarnation of Lord Shiva. Ancient Bhairav Nath Temple is near Mata Kalka Devi Temple. On one side of Kalkaji Metro Station, Shri Kalkaji Mandir is situated on the other side Shri Bhairav Mandir, one of the famous Bhairav Temples of Delhi. There is a well in the premises of the temple.
This is a wonderful place for the devotees of Lord Bhairav. There is no correct information about how old this temple is. It is said that in ancient times the deities themselves worshiped Bhairav.
The ancient Bhairav temple has a beautiful Shiva statue with six faces. The main deity of this temple is Lord Bhairav. The temple also houses Panch Mukhi Hanuman, Durga, Mahishasura Mardini Radha Krishna, Ram Sita Lakshmana and some other deities. The temple is not very big. The environment of the temple is very beautiful.
A large number of devotees visit the ancient Bhairav temple on Sundays to visit Bhairav. On Saturday, a large number of devotees also come for worship in Shri Shani Maharaj and Navagraha Dham.
