Bhagavad Gita Chapter 6, Verse 47

This verse is from the Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 6, Verse 47. It is written in Sanskrit and translates to English as follows:

yoginām api sarveṣhāṁ mad-gatenāntar-ātmanā
śhraddhāvān bhajate yo māṁ sa me yuktatamo mataḥ || 47 ||

English translation:

"Among all the Yogis, he is considered the best who worships me with devotion and is immersed in me from his heart."

Explanation in detail:

In this verse, Lord Krishna is explaining to Arjuna who is the best among the different types of yogis. Yoga is described in many forms in the Gita—Karmayoga, Jnanayoga, Dhyanayoga, and Bhaktiyoga. In this verse, Lord Krishna clearly states that the best among all yogis is he who worships God with devotion and love from his soul.
