Dwadashi of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada is celebrated as Bachvaras. On this day, women sprout coral, moth and millet and feed the calf at midday. The fast also consumes the above mentioned grain on this day. Cow milk, curd is prohibited on this day. Buffalo milk is used everywhere.
In addition to the Bachvaras, the Dwadashi of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada is also celebrated as Oak Duas or Bali Duadasi or Vatsa Duadashi. This fast is observed for the son Kamna. It is done by daughters, daughter-in-law. Sprouted moth, coral and gram etc. are offered on this day like the festival of Bachhwars. On this day, the use of bipartisan food has special significance. A party grain and cow milk is prohibited.
Shri Krishna, on the Dwadashi of Krishna Paksha, went to the forest to graze cows and calves for the first time. Mata Yashoda sent Sri Krishna to graze the cows completely. After the pooja recitation, Gopal opened the calves. Yashoda told Balarama, "Don't go far to graze the calves." Do not leave Shri Krishna alone. ”This auspicious date of Govatsacharna is celebrated by Gopal as a festival.
