When he did not mind even these things, he climbed Mount Kailash. As a result, a fierce battle ensued between Lord Shiva and Tripura.
After a long period of war, Lord Shiva killed him with the help of Brahma and Vishnu. From this day itself, Kshirsagar is considered an infinite significance of charity.
