This verse describes the divine form of Lord Shiva. Shiva should always be remembered, who shines like the silver mountain (Himalayas) and whose head is adorned with the beautiful moon. His body is adorned with gems, and He is cheerful, holding in His hands Parashu (axe), Mrig (deer), Varada Mudra (blessing), and Abhaya Mudra.
He is seated on a lotus seat and is constantly praised by the demigods. His form is covered with Vyaghra-skin (tiger skin). He is the beginning and seed of the universe, the destroyer of all fear, Panchamukhi (five-faced) and Trinetradhari (three-eyed) Lord Maheshwara.
