Refined flour - 250 grams,
Khoya - 100 grams,
Almond Powder - 50 grams,
Sugar - 05 tablespoons,
Ghee - 50 grams,
Saffron - 01 gram,
Cardamom powder - 01 tsp
Refined oil - for frying,
Water as required.
For Chandrakala Gujhiya, first mix khoya, almond powder, sugar, cardamom powder in a bowl. Divide the mixture into two parts.
Now add ghee to the flour in a big plate and mix it well. Add a little water to the flour and knead it like flour. Cover the rolled flour with a wet cloth for fifteen minutes.
After fifteen minutes, take out the flour and make twenty equal sized balls and roll them completely.
Now place a little khoya mixture on top of one poori and keep the other poori on top of it and press and seal both the puris. This is an important part of the step, do it carefully. Keep all the puris in this way.
After this, heat the refined oil in the pan and fry the prepared puris till they become golden. Now the method of making Chandrakala Gujhiya was completed.
If desired, decorate them with silver work before serving and keep them on a plate and serve.
