Balkeshwar Temple is a Hindu temple located in Agra in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The ancient name of Balkeshwar Mahadev Temple is Bilvakeshwar Mahadev Temple. This temple is one of the temples of Lord Shiva located at the four corners of Agra. This Shiva temple is located in Baleshwar Colony. This temple is located in Baleshwar on the banks of river Yamuna. It is believed that the Shiva lingam of this temple is about 700 years old. Lord Shiva likes bailpattar leaves, so bailpattar leaves are offered on the Shivling in this temple. This Shiva temple is spread over an acre of land.
Shivalinga is decorated with Rudraksha on the festival of Shivaratri. A fair is organized at this place in the months of Sawan.
